Chance to get up close to your favourite AFL players


Huge crowds are expected to flock to the free open training sessions, being held from Wednesday 3 April to Saturday 6 April at suburban grounds including Glenelg, Mount Barker and Elizabeth.

Fans can attend the training sessions for free, to cheer on their footy heroes.

The SANFL will also host football clinics for children aged 5-12, where participants will have the chance to take part in a range of on-ground football activities and player signings.

The clinics will be held from Wednesday 3 April to Monday 8 April. Registrations at Gather Round Footy Clinics.

Player appearances will also be held from Thursday 4 April to Sunday 7 April at the Macca’s Footy Festival, located at Elder Park, which is also home to a range of free activities, club activations and entertainment.

Adelaide Crows – Stratarama Stadium (Glenelg Oval), 5pm

Thursday 4 April 
Brisbane Lions – Norwood Oval, 10am
Port Adelaide – Alberton Oval, 10am
North Melbourne – Norwood Oval, 12.30pm

Friday 5 April
Fremantle – Stratarama Stadium (Glenelg Oval), 10am
Sydney Swans – Prospect Oval, 11am
West Coast Eagles – Summit Sports & Recreation Park Mt Barker, 11.30am
Western Bulldogs – Woodville Oval, 1pm
Carlton – Stratarama Stadium (Glenelg Oval), 2pm
Geelong – Woodville Oval, 3.30pm

Saturday 6 April
St Kilda – Norwood Oval, 9am
GWS – Prospect Oval, 12pm
Gold Coast Suns – Flinders University, 2pm
Collingwood – Hisense Stadium (West Adelaide Football Club), 3pm
Richmond – Norwood Oval, 3.30pm
