Surrounded by gardens and with breathtaking views over Adelaide, Carrick Hill’s new restaurant Rozelle’s is set to delight diners and provide a boost to jobs in the hospitality sector.

The restaurant is operated by the Favaro family - the hospitality family behind popular Adelaide venues Chianti and Bar Torino on Hutt St - and is part of the estate's new $7.2 million pavilion development.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a range of wood-fired oven inspired dishes to share, including pizzas.

newThe pavilion project received $1 million in support from the South Australian Government, $3 million in Australian Government funding under the Adelaide City Deal, and $3.265 million from the Carrick Hill Development Foundation.

Favaro Group general manager Jessica Favaro-Richards said Rozelle’s menu would be driven by her family’s love of sharing food together.

“The menu is everything we love about relaxed Italian food and dining. Rozelle’s is a place where you can visit and have a good time with your people,” Ms Favaro-Richards said.

“More than anything, Rozelle’s will be about celebrating great food in good company which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a day out with friends or family.”

Carrick Hill director Susan McCormack said the partnerships that helped bring about Rozelle’s paid “homage to the warm hospitality of the Hayward family who built and lived in Carrick Hill before giving it to the people of South Australia”.

The Favaro Group is known for its "exceptional focus on service, their family ethos and their love of hosting and presenting great food to guests,” Ms McCormack said.

“The Haywards were famous for these qualities too. We cannot imagine bringing a better partnership to Carrick Hill and seeing it come to life within this new venue.

“Visitors can come just for a meal or add in a stroll in the arts and crafts gardens, a visit to the House Museum to be inspired by its extensive art collection or try something a bit more strenuous and explore the bushland and the full 100-acre site.”

Rozelle’s will be open Wednesday to Sunday as well as on most public holidays from 10am-4:30pm. It will also be available for private hire outside Carrick Hill opening hours.
