Charging ahead with electric vehicles

Marion, West Lakes, Strathalbyn, Hahndorf, Woodside, Mount Gambier and five Adelaide CBD Uparks have been chosen as the first locations for charging stations.

Another 140 charging sites will be rolled out by the end of 2023, with all stations powered by renewable energy.

Charging stations are an important part of purchasing considerations for electric vehicle owners, who want the peace of mind of access to stations for a longer driving range.

South Australia has seen an increase in new EV sales, as our state continues to lead the world in decarbonisation of our electricity grid, and the uptake of electric vehicles.
