The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) project is the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor which will create a 78km non-stop motorway between Gawler and Old Noarlunga.

As part of the T2D project, tunnels with three lanes in each direction will be created between Richmond and Torrensville, and Clovelly Park to Glandore, helping motorists bypass 21 sets of traffic lights.

An open motorway will link the tunnels.

New fly-through vision (video at bottom of page) has been released, highlighting how the project will transform the journey for motorists travelling between the River Torrens and Darlington.

The project's design also respects, celebrates and integrates the important cultural heritage of the Kaurna peoples, as well as state and local heritage places.

Work on the project, being jointly funded by the state and federal governments, is expected to start in 2025 and be finished in 2031.

Members of the community are encouraged to complete a survey or attend a community session at the new central T2D Community Information Centre located at 290 South Rd, Hilton.
