Adelaide International set to serve up world-class tennis

Adelaide International Tournament Director Alicia Molik says the return of 2025's tournament winner Madison Keys and finalist Jack Draper is a testament to what the event means to the world's best tennis players.

“I am thrilled to announce today that we have already had a commitment from two top-10 players to compete at the Adelaide International," Ms Molik said.

"We are looking forward to welcoming back defending champion Madison Keys and young gun Jack Draper. Both have performed exceptionally well in Adelaide in the past."

Tickets are now on sale for next year's Adelaide International, to be held from 12-17 January.Madison Keys

Keys (pictured), currently ranked 8th in the world, won the women's singles title in 2025 before going on to capture her first Grand Slam crown at the Australian Open by defeating world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka.

"Having Madison back competing at The Drive speaks to the prestige of the Adelaide International and sets the tone for what promises to be another exceptional week of tennis in 2026."

Keys will be joined by rising young British star and 2025 finalist Draper, currently ranked No.9 in the world.

As one of only 17 WTA 500 tournaments worldwide, the Adelaide International, which is supported by the South Australian Government through the South Australian Tourism Commission, holds a prestigious place on the global tennis calendar.

The combined WTA 500 and ATP 250 tournament provides critical preparation for the Australian Open and attracts a worldwide broadcast audience, showcasing South Australia to millions of viewers.

aliciaMolik (pictured), who is preparing for her third Adelaide International, said she could not "wait until January".

"This tournament continues to grow in stature each year," she said.

"To see Madison Keys lift the trophy in Adelaide and then go on to win the Australian Open was a brilliant reminder of the level of talent that competes here."

Keys said she was "incredibly excited" to be returning to Adelaide.

"This tournament means so much to me, and the energy from the fans and the event organisers makes it such a special place to compete."

Tennis SA CEO Debbie Sterrey said the event was "critical" to the growth of tennis across SA.

"It inspires young players, increases participation, and bring our community closer to the global game," she said.

Last year's event attracted more than 50,000 fans to The Drive.

The live music, entertainment, bars, food trucks and hospitality experiences at next year's tournament are on track to be even bigger, including the previously expanded entertainment precinct at Pinky Flat.

Tickets to the tournament start at just $10 and free entry for kids at select sessions. (external site)
