Buy SA Week – the celebration of all the incredible produce and products we make in South Australia – will (pardon the pun) kick off with a major activation at this weekend’s Showdown.

Port Adelaide and Crows fans can start Buy SA Week off right (external site) by visiting the stands in the South and East Concourse to collect a Local Love can cooler, a sticker set featuring the work of artist Billie Justice Thomson and some other South Australian goodies.

A lucky punter will even have the opportunity to test their local knowledge of South Australian products in a half-time competition, so study up and make sure you know your Fruchocs from your FUIC.

Metro & Regional Activations and Tastings
26 July to 3 August

Experience the flavours of South Australia across the city and regions, including local supermarkets, retailers and Rundle Mall, as Buy SA Week rolls out a range of stand-alone activations and in-store tastings (external site).

Brand SA will partner with Food South Australia to present a delicious program of samplings, giveaways and more of SA’s best produce.

It’s a great way to sample some of South Australia’s most-loved products and best-known brands including Kytons, The Yoghurt Shop, Nippy's, La Casa Del Formaggio, Continental Taralli Biscuits, Mike's Beef Jerky, Barossa Cheese, Mrs D's Cookies (and many more!) and discover some new local brands.

Meet us at the Markets
Friday 1 August and Sunday 3 August

Watch Masterchef's Larissa Sewell and Supermarket Swap’s Nabula El Mourid in action at the Adelaide Central Market (external site) on 1 August from 4.30pm to 8pm for a cooking demonstration and taste the incredible flavours of our state and how you can make them shine on the plate.

And on 3 August head down to Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market (external site) between 8.30am and noon to wander the stalls, meet the growers, and taste your way through South Australia’s best seasonal produce.

Tastings, Samplings and Demos

Buy SA Week is the perfect opportunity to taste, sample and try our incredible quality produce, products and experiences.

Head out and support the wonderful South Australian businesses (external site) who are participating with tastings, sampling and demonstrations all across the State.
