Lenny’s gonna go our way

Lenny Kravitz – four-time Grammy Award-winning singer, writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist – will headline the Saturday evening concert at this year’s bp Adelaide Grand Final.

The 61-year-old singer of hits like Fly Away, It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over, American Woman, Always On The Run and Are You Gonna Go My Way will bring his globally praised Blue Electric Light Tour 2025 to the big race.

The tour is part of what Billboard magazine has dubbed the "Lennaissance", a period of worldwide success for Kravitz, who released his critically acclaimed 12th studio album Blue Electric Light last year.

Joining Kravitz on the 29 November bill will be ARIA-Award winning rock band, Jet.

Jet established themselves as a multi-platinum, international success story, and with their classic rock and roll sound they promise to bring a raw, uninhibited performance to the stage.

Celebrating 21 years of their debut album Get Born, the band has sold more than five million copies worldwide.

The bp Adelaide Grand Final Operations and Concert Manager Brian Gleeson OAM said it was exciting to lock in an international artist of the calibre of Lenny Kravitz.

"As a four-time Grammy winner he will draw crowds with his Blue Electric Light Tour and close out a speculator day of racing and sporting drama at the bp Adelaide Grand Final on Saturday," Mr Gleeson said.

"Lenny and his band add an incredible offering for patrons at our event and showcases the appeal for international artists to be part of the off-track entertainment and grand final fanfare in Adelaide."
