These include a Women in Business Foundations Program and a Women in Business Advisory Program – both aimed at helping women overcome barriers to business success.

The launch of the State Government's Women in Business Program follows a recent survey which found 43 per cent of female business owners indicated they faced gender-specific barriers including discrimination, inequitable access to growth opportunities and establishing work-life balance with caregiving duties.
