South Australian children aged 5 to 16 are encouraged to get creative and enter the 2023 Mini Float Competition.

The children must express 'What Christmas means to me' in their mini float design, which can be a drawing, painting or model.

The winning design will be built and showcased in this year's National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant, to be held on Sunday 4 November.

Entries are open until Friday 30 June, 2023, with winners to be notified in mid-July.

The winning entry will also receive $500, along with a unique behind the scenes tour of float builder Stardust Castle and a reserved spot at the pageant to watch their float pass by.

The runner up will receive $250, and third place will receive $100.
